Youth Group
Our youth participate in ongoing and seasonal activities. There are a variety of seasonal activities including the Annual Christmas pageant.
Fisher Kids – Grades 3 to 6 October-June
Fisher Kids meets the first Monday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to play games, do projects, and build community. We end our time together with a simple supper.
Teens
Rev. Audrey, and Ms. Martha Boughner, and Mr. Michael Hirsch meet with the teens on the second Monday of the month, 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the church kitchen to build community and work on on projects.
Other Opportunites
Acolytes - 6th Grade and Older
Acolytes assist the clergy during the 8:15 and 10:15 a.m. services. Younger acolytes serve as torch bearers and older ones as crucifers. Training is provided. Speak to Martha Boughner or the clergy if you are interested in training.
Lectors – Middle School and Older
We invite all youth who would like to read Scripture lessons in church to train for this ministry. Please speak to the clergy.
Chalice Bearers—11th grade and older
Confirmed teens can be prepared to serve the chalice at services. Speak to the clergy to learn more.
Diocesan Youth programs
Throughout the year there are a variety of great programs for our youth. Opportunities will be listed on the main bulletin board, announced in the weekly EBlast, and announcement in church on Sunday as well as listed in Sunday's bulletin.
