Volunteers for Habitat Build

We are looking for a few volunteers to work on a job site with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday Oct. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will meet at Grace Church in Nutley and carpool to the site. Bring a lunch and drinks. Hard shoes suggested, please no open-toed shoes. Teenagers and older are welcome. Parents would need to fill out a consent form. Save the Tower Beefsteak 12th November 5:30 p.m.

 A fun night of beefsteak in the parish hall featuring a tricky tray, bread sculptures, entertainment provided by The St. James Players! Dinner includes salad, all you can eat beefsteak, fries and an ice cream sundae dessert. A prize will go to the best bread sculpture. The Episcopal Church of St. James will be honored with an an award from the Montclair Historic Preservation Commission. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in and support for furthering the aims of historic preservation in Montclair including research, development, planning advocacy and local community leadership. Coat Drive in partnership with the Montclair Fire Department

The Montclair Fire Department, Le Salbuen Cafe, Le Willow Boutique  and St. James Church are working together for a seasonal coat drive to help those in need in our community keep warm when the temperatures drop. Read more
